New Things Well, it's may, and I must say, I really haven't gotten anything done, from my Resolutions. Oh dear. But I do have a new Artist Feature for anyone who cares. :3 Finally, amiright?
It's almost the end of January, and I definitely haven't got my drawing finished yet. I guess I'll upload what I've got as a WIP. And hopefully by the end of Feb, It'll actually be a completed. Or I could just upload a detail/the part of it that actually is finished... I guess I'll have to decide that by tomorrow. :3
I also need to start looking around for February's feature artist. Yay, hooray.
So far I haven't been doing very good with my list of art-related Resolutions.Good thing I've got 11 more months to get-er-dun.
In life news, it's winter, and everything is lovely. It hasn't been too cold, which is nice. I'm keeping myself busy with school/work. Mostly work, though. Trying to get out more, and to keep my life somewhat organized. The organized bit has started in my bedroom, and so far, I've been doing pretty good. The getting out more comes from hanging out with the kids from church, and people from work. It means I'm away from my computer more often than I used to be, but I kind of like it. Though this is probably one of the reasons my Landscape of the Month didn't get done. Plus, I think I shot a little too high with this idea. I don't think there's anything else exciting for now. I gotta get to work, now.
Working on uploading some of my stuff from last year. Since I haven't uploaded in forever. It's taking a little while. I don't have the time or patience to sit down and upload all of them at once.
I have a brand new icon, made by ~DreyaCira... Because she's amazing!
The NDA Secret Santa Exchange is going to be done soon, I think. Only 5 left to be done! I'll be sending out reminders to the remaining people soon.
I watched the new TinTin movie the other night... it was great. I recommend it!
It has finally snowed here. And there's a lot of it, too! The world is beautiful.
I'm back in school, but only taking one class at the moment. I'm really enjoying it though.
Still working 5 days a week. Sometimes 6.
May 2012 Feature
I first saw This deviation, and was drawn into it immediately. The shapes and textures used in the blocking of color and shades are amazing. Most of the rest of the artwork in the gallery is of cats, and they are adorable. The gallery also includes a couple great Tutorials one of which I have actually used before!
